"What would have become of me had I not believed that I would see the Lord's goodness in the land of the LIVING. Wait, hope for and EXPECT the Lord. Be strong and of good courage and may your heart (Ned) be sturdy and enduring.....Yes, Wait For and Hope For and Expect the Lord."

Surgery is a Success!!

Dr. Stewert just came in to let us know that the surgery went as good as he could have possibly expected. He acted somewhat surprised and extremely relieved....as was I. I haven't seen Ned yet, but all I know is that his heart is fixed, he is almost certainly out of the woods for any severe complications with the surgery and they said his left lung (the small one) is looking significantly larger than expected. I have never been so certain that God has been in control of this from the beginning. I couldn't ever have guess how He would work this out, but I just can't help but going back to the day Ned was diagnosed and God said to me..."Betsy, are you going to trust me?". For sure now, without hesitation, my response is ALWAYS!!

I'll update with more details later....I'm on the hospital computer?

Love you all. Your prayers and faithfulness have brought us through the darkest time and I am forever grateful and blessed for all you have given us.

Betsy, Travis, Jack & Ned

So thankful! I sat down to check on the blog while waiting on the boys to fall asleep for their naps and was almost afraid to to look! All morning the words "Little one's to Him belong...They are weak but He is strong" have been going through my head. The Lord has shown great love for Ned and Ned has already shown His love to so many.

Betsy and Travis, So happy about this wonderful news! We are so thankful to God for His ongoing faithfulness to all of our needs!
You are both probably exhausted...so get some rest. Know that everyone here is rejoicing and continuing to pray that little Ned will soon be fully recovered and home with his great family! Love, Sherry

Betsy & Travis,
I am so happy for you guys. This whole thing has helped me realize that everything, everything, everything is in God's hands. I have such trouble with that because I want to take care of everything myself. But watching you and Travis hand it all over to God has been a huge lesson for me. I am so glad for the good news. GOD is so GOOD! We are rejoicing with you and lifting praises of thanksgiving to God. Psalm:100
Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving;go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
Love to you all! Tammy, Randy & Colby

What awesome new, its like you already expected though. It is great to have that kind of faith and belief that you just expect God to be the leader and healer. I am so happy for little Ned. Prayers will still continue in the road ahead. Keep believing.

Betsy and Travis,
WooHoo for all of you but expecially for Little Ned. I just love writing his name. Brings me great joy because of Papa Ned. God is faithful and you have show so many of us how to stay the course. Feel the prayers and support of those you know and those you may never know but only through prayer. We'll continue as prayer warriors until we can meet Little Ned in person in C'ville.
Hugs, Cheryl Ann

PRAISE GOD!!! God is good all the time! After visiting yesterday, I got just a small taste of the ups and downs that you go through almost daily, but it motivated me to pray harder! I was thinking & praying for you guys this morning when I was getting ready for work, and I knew it was the same time Ned was in surgery. I will continue to pray for Ned's recovery, and for you and Travis to continue to have strength and peace.
Love,
Cindy

So glad to hear all is well. I'll have to update Heath & the kids in the morning...can't wait til' this little fellow gets home...seems like he has made tons of friends and once again, more blessings will follow. God is real. He gave little Ned's body the strength he needed to pull through this surgery. You & Travis have been spiritually wonderful. I know Jack is ready to see his little brother. Keep up the good work and we will continue praying for you. Love, Belle
